The StoreFacebook application is integrated with Facebook but developed by an external team.

StoreFacebook enables you to insert advertisements and sell whatever you want online, taking advantage of your network of Facebook friends to share your ads with more and more people.

- StoreFacebook – how does it work?

To insert an advertisement you need to be registered on Facebook. You can use the same account to log in on the StoreFacebook application page. To log in, just click on the FacebookConnect button you find on the left of the page, underneath the logo of the application. You can then choose between the “Sell” and “Buy” buttons. Choose “Sell” if you want to insert one or more adverts. Choose “Buy” if you want to look through all advertisements and find items you can purchase directly online, either using standard search filters (category, subcategory, date, country or specific location, etc.) or searching by friends.

- How do I sell on StoreFacebook?

StoreFacebook will not receive any form of payment, and will not be responsible for any transaction between users. Using StoreFacebook is free for all users and all payments will be directly between the buyer and the seller. StoreFacebook will just enable a user who is interested in buying a product to contact seller. Sale can be finalised in various methods, which are explained in more detail below. When you insert an advertisement, you can indicate if you want to receive payment through PayPal. To do this just insert the e-mail address associated to your PayPal account. If you do not want to receive payment by PayPal you can use StoreFacebook simply as a showcase to give your insertions more visibility: in this case users interested to your ads can e-mail you through Facebook itself. External links can be included in all advertisements, so as to add adverts which simply link to your own website.
